About the centre

Gorey Family Resource Centre opened to the public in August 2010, the Centre receives core funding from TUSLA as part of the National Family Resource Centre Programme. The Centre has continued to flourish and today offers a very broad range of supports, activities and services to the community of Gorey and surrounding areas.

Gorey Family Resource Centre is a Limited Company and Registered Charity managed by local volunteers.

The management committee members are Beatrice Kinsellla (Chairperson), Denise O’Connor (Secretary), Rory Bracken (Treasurer), Nigel Tate, Trish O’Connor, Sunniva Collier, Collette Fassnidge, Noeleen Watson, and Darina Ryan.

The overall aim of the FRC is to work with individuals and families to improve the well-being of parents and children by providing a broad range of family supports services, programmes and activities.

Gorey Family Resource Centre working with the community and other agencies to create a safe and friendly place which facilitates positive change, develops resilience, and enhances individual & family well-being.
